The Horse Dance series is a project having to do with dynamic layering. Aquatint is added on top of an etched line drawing, then an unrelated transparent shape of colored paper is added on top of both. For fun, I tried a second version of each with an added layer of similarly colored aquatint instead of paper.

This is a selection of recent black and white prints using varying materials and techniques

These prints that were made using several different printmaking techniques--intaglio with soft grounds and soap ground, lithograph, and collograph--have all been printed over varying shapes of colored paper, called "chine collé".
